Millennium Bankshares is the holding company for Millennium Bank, which serves Northern Virginia through two branches. The bank, which opened in 1999, offers traditional retail and commercial products including checking and savings accounts, IRAs, CDs, and money market accounts. The bank wound down its mortgage operations in an effort to focus on core banking activities. Millennium also dissolved its insurance services division. The company has been struggling since the economic downturn began.
